Applications on golf courses are rapidly evolving. Reduced life cycle cost, resistance to corrosion and superior weight-strength ratios offer significant benefits.
With GRP products you have zero maintenance, it is easy to cut, it is lightweight 12.3kg per square metre and can take a ½ tonne load comfortable per square metre, and unlike metal grating, GRP has no scrap value, added to this it is anti-slip and UV stable.
GripClad ® GRP Grating can be found in golf club wash-bays, trench and drainage covers, ditch crossings, structural footbridges, pit covers, walkways, platforms, ramps and just recently as shoe cleaning platform stations, and is available in green, light grey or even yellow.
The dense fibre core makes GRP Grating hard and strong, and their absolute values of flexural and impact strength is higher than those of common steels.
