Introducing the new Mark4 above ground petrol tanks.

The Petrol Tank Company went back to the drawing board when designing the new tanks to take every aspect into account. Starting at 1,200 litres, the smallest unit gives  a volume of fuel well suited for the average golf club but also gives them the power to choose who the fuel comes from. Many suppliers were not interested in supplying less than 1,000L of petrol at a time.

The Petrol Tank Company has doubled the protection on its fire resistant jackets from 30 minutes to 60 minutes with a fully coated easy care system.

All its tanks are now machine made meaning every part can be easily reproduced and replaced with millimetre precision.

The breather vent is stainless steel as it saw this as an area where condensation could form and flake rust into previous models.

The paint is improved with the standard two pack coating on all tanks with optional marine coating for more harsh areas.

The inner tank can be easily accessed for cleaning and inspection which is something never before available on a small above ground tank.

The tanks are now completely modular. What this means is that you can buy a hand pump today and should you want to upgrade to an electric or forecourt style pump in a year,  the tank can quickly and easily be changed to accommodate your requirements, making all tanks completely future-proof.

“We are immensely proud of the new tanks and are proud to offer an industry leading warranty to accompany them,” said a spokesman. “The reception of the first units received by customers has been fantastic and working with customers and suppliers in mind has achieved a unit that’s very safe, long lasting and easy to operate.

“Why would any body risk collecting fuel themselves?”
