Price Turfcare is the UK and Ireland distributor of Ryan turf maintenance equipment, the US-manufactured machinery that has set a standard for compact equipment to help golf course greenkeeping teams, landscape contractors and groundsmen.

For over 70 years, the Ryan brand from Schiller Grounds Care has been synonymous with heavy-duty, commercially-built, long-lasting turf care equipment and has become one of the most trusted names in turf renovation. The product portfolio includes aerators, dethatchers, overseeders, turf cutters and other speciality products that offer maximum versatility, reduced operator fatigue and efficient, reliable, long-term operation year after year.

Industry-leading power plants from Briggs & Stratton and Honda are used across the range and there’s a two-year limited warranty on all equipment.

Typical products include the Lawnaire IV and Lawnaire V aerators, which are now available with Easy Steer Technology (EST). When turning with similar machines, the tines have be removed from the turf, but with EST the tines are never taken out of the ground to steer and turn, so aeration is faster and easier than before. With this unique design, each tine assembly rotates independently as the operator turns for quick and easy manoeuvring around flowerbeds, trees and hard landscape features.

Tough and versatile machines are the hallmark of the Ryan brand and the Mataway Overseeder and Mataway Dethatcher are no exceptions. The Mataway Overseeder delivers seed straight to the curve-shaped discs, placing it directly into the soil slits for unmatched seed-to-soil contact. The seed flow rate is easily controlled from the operator’s station and the flow stops automatically when the reel is raised for maximum control and precise operation.

The Mataway Dethatcher is built for heavy-duty turf renovation and dethatching. This self-propelled workhorse offers user-friendly features like cutting depth control directly from the operator’s station. Its also features five different reel types that are quickly and easy change. For optimal efficiency, a 19-inch working width allows you to cover up to18,700 square feet per hour.
